Lyone construction was great to work with-they were on time, on budget, did excellent work, and kept the work site tidy. Their estimate was very competitive, and they were willing to work with some very unusual requests. For example, we were interested in a curved edge on our deck. Others balked with that, but Lyone had some great ideas on how to do it right. They suggested a curved, concrete curb on which the outer edge of the deck would rest and where we could apply a ledge stone outer facing on its vertical surface below the deck boards. They also recommended a contoured wood edge to cover the end grain of the deck boards. We accepted both suggestions, plus we worked together to create benches from Redwood slabs we had saved from a recent tree removal. The result (see pictures) was a very special deck which exceeded our expectations.
